Consistency

 

CHOYCE is the only consultancy in Hong Kong entirely dedicated to secretarial recruitment. We have been placing personal assistants, executive assistants, office managers and receptionists since early 2008. Our name has recently changed but our philosophy remains the same: if our consultants are trained to  consistently deliver great service to our clients and candidates, those same people will come to us. In order to provide a consistent service, clients must be able to come back to the same consultant with whom they already have a relationship. With this in mind, senior management at CHOYCE allocate substantial resources to ensure our consultants  remain happy; we do this by ensuring they are fully involved with the business and all decisions. We do not overwork our consultants, avoiding the inevitable burn out and lack of enthusiasm seen in so many other agencies, and we have a professional but relaxed dress code. The intention is to keep turnover to a minimum, ensuring that you can come back to the same consultant, in the same agency, again and again.

Innovation

  

Executive secretarial recruitment is a unique market to work in. Unlike other sectors, it is highly labour intensive;  finding great candidates can take a long time unless a consultant spends all day, every day, searching for them in pro-active and creative ways, and that is exactly what we do. CHOYCE fully utilizes social marketing because research shows us that this is where we can find what we are looking for. We deliver a great service so that our candidates refer other great candidates to us,  and 40 percent of our database are from such referrals.

 

Whilst other agencies source candidates by spending large amounts of money on advertising agencies, billboards and print, CHOYCE has developed a marketing strategy built around giving back to our loyal client and candidate base. We have found this to be a more effective way of building relationships and therefore having the privilege of keeping the best PAs and Secretaries within our network.  We run competitions to find the most talented EAs, we have a wide range of incentives available and  our consultants are encouraged to develop peronalised entertainment packages for our clients.  

 

Perhaps  the obvious example of our individual approach is our website, a first of it's kind in recruitment, where clients can go online to see videos of the candidates if they are registered with us. This effectively cuts out the first round interview, allowing clients to identify appropriate people in just minutes, rahter than hours, of their time.  This has proven to be a powerful tool in the vetting process for our clients; -just one reason why they come back to us, again and again.

 

Efficiency

  

Because our entire agency is dedicated to Executive Secretaries, we are able to deliver results very quickly. Typically we can get relevant CVs to a client wtihin 20 minutes of receiving the initial instruction. Moreover, all of our consultants carry Black Berrys enabling them to organise interviews if they are away from their desk and our database is online so the consultants can activate it whenever and where-ever they may be. The use of video  means that clients are able to ascertain whether the candidate is a real possibility almost immediately. All of this follows the CHOYCE business model that we have followed  since inception in 2008 :  Consistency, Innovation, Efficiency . We know that if we deliver the same, accurate results quickly, every time, then our candidates and clients will keep coming back to us, again and again.
